Since 2010 megagear has been offering customers in Europe an alternative to anabolic steroids. Indeed, the prescription of steroids and hormone-based bodybuilding supplements for lean muscle mass, building lean muscle mass, or increasing endurance, requires a doctor's prescription. Without this, it is impossible or illegal to obtain anabolic steroids.
MegaGear claims that their supplements provide all the benefits of real steroids, with none of the side effects, plus the ability to transform your body in weeks. Let's take a closer look at these claims.

Their proponents claim that xenoandrogens are substances very similar to anabolic steroids in their effects but far less harmful to human health.
Such claims can often be heard from various producers of sports supplements, but they are rarely based on anything other than wishful thinking or (more often) dishonest advertising.
Because the biological properties and specific mode of action of xenoandrogens are still poorly understood, we decided to test commercially available substances ourselves.
Methods and products used : Of the 12 xenoandrogens available we have chosen a combination of 2: Tren-enant 150 and Danabol. As their names suggest, they are meant to be legal alternatives to Trenboloneenanthate and Dianabol (methandienone) produced by MegaGear.
Volunteers: Our volunteers were 48 men aged 19-43. 8 of them had previously used anabolic steroids. We divided the volunteers into two groups: the xenoandrogenic group (group X) and the control group (group C). The 24 volunteers in group C received a placebo. Our little test was double-blind, meaning neither the volunteers nor our colleagues taking the measurements knew who was using a placebo and who was using xenoandrogens.
The average weight of our volunteers was 83.2 kg.
Duration of the study: Our test lasted 12 weeks, which is the time recommended by the producer of commercially available xenoandrogens. All volunteers completed the test.
Training, diet and additional supplementation: the two groups of volunteers followed a high-protein diet (about 1.5g of protein per 1kg of body weight per day) and were subjected to intensive training 3 times a week for the duration of the test. .
The training consisted mainly of 3 exercises: squats, push press and pulldowns with a V-bar.
No other supplements were allowed two weeks before the study and during the study.
Results :
Average growth in lean muscle mass for the group as a whole:
- Week: 0 kg
- Week: 0.5 kg
- Week: 0.9 kg
- Week: 1 kg
- Week: 1 kg
- Week: 1.2 kg
- Week: 1 kg
- Week: 2 kg
- Week: 2.5 kg
- Week: 2.5 kg
- Week: 3 kg
- Week: 3.1 kg
The average total lean muscle mass gained during the 12-week trial was therefore 4.9 kg. Increases in muscle mass gradually went from zero in the first week to 0.6 kg over the last five weeks.
Side effects:
Five volunteers reported no side effects, two of them complained of acne and one of mild stomach pain. The side effects disappeared within two weeks of using xenoandrogens. It must be emphasized that complete medical examinations before and after the use of xenoandrogens were not part of this limited test. Therefore, it is not possible to exclude additional complications resulting from the use of such products.
Conclusion: Our opinion on MegaGear and its products
Steroids because of their harmful effects on the body, are prohibited from sale in France. That is why specialized brands like Megagear in the production of dietary supplements use healthy substances to design their articles.
MegaGear has been producing a healthy alternative to these products for several years. The interest for all practitioners concerns the legal aspect of these supplements: authorized in Europe, they have almost no side effects on the body.
Finally, the real interest of the brand's various products concerns the perfect imitation of the action of growth hormone. They deliver what they promise when it comes to muscle building, bulking and cutting. These are indeed viable alternatives to steroids.
