When CrossFit first burst onto the fitness scene just 20 years ago, no one could have predicted how this concept would become a worldwide phenomenon.
Practicing CrossFit in Paris is about as easy as finding a baguette or a croissant; there are rooms in each block that offer training, and more new establishments appear regularly.
Choosing the best CrossFit box for your needs is where it gets tricky. Here are a few that I would recommend:
HEGO CrossFit® Batignolles
If you are tired of overcrowded, impersonal classes or an unwelcoming environment, the HEGO CrossFit® Batignolles room is for you.
There, you will find classes for a maximum of 10 people, personalized supervision, meticulous teaching in a duly maintained room.
A foundation protocol including weightlifting and gymnastics classes is offered for all new arrivals. This protocol allows you to learn the basics of CrossFit in complete safety and is fully reimbursed for any annual subscription.

Reebok CrossFit Louvre in Paris

This is a small fitness center in the heart of the 1st arrondissement (very close to the Louvre). They offer a range of high-intensity workouts and are always happy for drop-ins to join the space.
This place is widely known among tourists for being a great gym to visit even if you don't speak the local language. They are wonderfully welcoming and accommodating.

CrossFit Left Bank in Paris

This is the local CrossFit spot in the 13th arrondissement. It's very small, but it's well run, clean and friendly compared to most gyms in Paris.
The coaches are passionate about this training system and put a lot of energy into ensuring that everyone reaches their maximum potential so that the start feels accomplished. It's a tight-knit group that trains here, and a great place if you want to get away from the hip hustle and bustle of the city.

CrossFit Cormeilles En Parisis in Paris

For many who reside in Paris, it's a Mecca for CrossFit enthusiasts and workout enthusiasts in general. It's a bit out of central Paris and requires a car or train to get there, but if you can get there, you'll probably feel like you've found your way back.
The workout is high intensity, wonderfully organized, and the gym itself is always immaculate. Even if you've never attended a CrossFit workout before, this is a great place to take the first step.
The head coach is keen to adjust the class levels depending on who is present.

CrossFit Madeleine in Paris
Another gym in the center of Paris, a stone's throw from the Louvre. This sports complex is much more intimate than other gyms in the area and operates on a membership basis instead of being completely open to the public. That said, they will absolutely accommodate you if you show up unannounced.
The gym itself is called the Salle de Sport and is sponsored by Reebok. CrossFit isn't all they offer. There's also high-intensity cycling, boxing, pilates and yoga. This gym is a vibe and I highly recommend it for working out at all levels!

CrossFit Original Addicts in Paris

This industrial space was transformed into a full-scale CrossFit gym a few years ago. It's all about positive energy, with coaches that speak every language so foreigners can find some comfort in the space.
This gym is open early and closes late. Evening sessions are almost always booked, so if you want to attend, you'll need to let them know in advance. The best time for drop-in classes is around lunchtime!

CrossFit Lutece in Paris

According to online reviews and former participants, this is probably the best CrossFit establishment in all of Paris, for locals and foreigners.
First, their online booking system allows for a seamless process, allowing you to show up ready to train without having to deal with an administrator. The box itself is the largest in town, accommodating an impressive number of attendees at each session.
Public showers and lockers are available to all. Note that classes end a little earlier these days due to the Covid 19 protocol, but should return to a regular schedule towards the end of the year.
