5 rounds of:
10 push-ups
10 burpees
Chain together as many jump squats as possible in 2 minutes. Repeat the cycle 4 times.

About the Athlete

Patrick Vellner has reached the CrossFit Games podium three times, placing third in 2016 and 2017 and second in 2018.
He balances his athletic career with his part-time job as a chiropractor in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada.

“Jump squats are the heart of the workout,” Vellner says.
“The push-ups will work your upper body, the rotations will get your heart rate up a little bit, and the squats will really get your legs burning and keep your heart rate elevated for the rest of the work period.

“It’s a great workout, it doesn’t require any equipment… Grab a buddy, challenge them, see who can do the most squat jumps in those five rounds.”
